FRANKLIN STREET

These pictures of the north side of Franklin Street looking towards the street's junction with Main Street are rather poor.  They were taken late in 1974 after it was found that the tenements shown were in danger of collapse.  The tenants were evacuated and the building demolished.  Franklin Street was one of the earliest streest constructed at Bridgeton and took its name from the American statesman and inventor, Benjamin Franklin.
