EASTERHILL

This piece of land beyond London Road seen from one of the houses of the Braidfauld scheme once formed part of the Easterhill estate.  Seen here c.1978 it was used as a slag dump for the steel plant.

A continuation eastwards from the above, showing into the "coosie".

The "coosie" football pitch and beyond.  The Good Shepherd Church in Dalbeth can just be seen through the trees.

The "coosie" towards the Braidfauld estate.

What I took to be the remains of the original Eastehill House.

An entry to the "coosie" from London Road now long blocked off by a gate; December, 1977.
